We are very pleased to announce that Greg Marsh has been promoted to the position of Manager of the Building Materials Department, to become effective immediately. Greg has worked for Marine Home Center for over 36 years and has been a key contributor to the growth and success of the business. His unmatched work ethic and “lead by example” style has earned him the respect of our customers and all those that work with him. Greg’s leadership goes well beyond the boundaries of the Building Materials Department and his influence and his vision for success envelops the entire Company.
Mark Songer, employed by Marine for over 40 years and the previous manager of the Building Materials Department, will continue to work for the Company as a Business Advisor. In the short term, Mark will continue to work alongside Greg as the Purchasing Manager, providing financial oversight and product management. In the long term, Mark will advise and assist Marine’s management by instituting plans and policies that will lead to improved service for our customers.
Please join our entire Marine family to recognize Greg Marsh for the effort that he has put forth and congratulate him on the promotion that he has genuinely earned.

Lili Goldberg, Bed and Bath Specialist, recently became a certified Matouk Master after she completed a 6 week long course.
Matouk, a luxury linens company, hand selected Lili to participate in the course where she learned in-depth about the brand, machinery, and different textiles Matouk uses.
Congratulations Lili on becoming a Matouk Master!

"I’ve enjoyed wearing Milwaukee’s “Heated Gear” since I put on my first jacket in the fall of 2014 while photographing the ‘Sconset Bluff' and that jacket still hangs in the hall going into its 9th winter. Since then I have added heated hoodies and vests, and even a hand warmer for my wife. All of this gear is warmed by the same 12v or 18v batteries that power Milwaukee’s cordless tools.
For 2022, the lineup is divided into three categories: The TOUGHSHELL jackets and vests, the AXIS hooded jackets and vests, and the Heated Hoodies."

The Festival of Trees, sponsored by Marine, is a holiday tradition that transforms the Whaling Museum into a winter wonderland for the month of December! The theme of our tree this year is, "Build, Decorate, Plaid!" inspired by our tagline, "Build, Decorate, Live!"
We hand-made ornaments in the shapes of trees, stockings, ornaments, and stars and decorated them with different plaid fabrics. The gifts under the tree were specially wrapped by Janice Grassia and her elf, Bramble!
