Meet THOMAS SPITZ
Deposit Operations Specialist
Supporting BSA Officer, Notary Public
|
Tom joined our branch office team as a teller in 2011. As his responsibilities grew to include teller supervisor and customer service representative, he gained experience in bank operations and continued to advance his career. In 2015 he was promoted to deposit operations specialist. Tom also supports our compliance department as a back-up BSA officer, and provides notary public service for our customers.
Tom is primarily responsible for overseeing our electronic banking products, including online banking and bill pay for personal and business banking customers, commercial remote deposit capture, and more.
Fun fact: Tom is an avid collector of coins and memorabilia for sports, music, movies, television, and video games. What are his most prized collectibles?

A Philadelphia - and Atlanta - Story: CEO Charlie Crawford runs TWO Half-Marathons in FIVE days!
|
|
On November 17, Hyperion Bank CEO Charlie Crawford ran the Philadelphia Half-Marathon at a pace of 7:48 to
finish at 1:42:19, earning 36th place among the 775 runners in his group of males age 55-59, and an overall place of 1046 out of more than 24,000 runners. An avid runner, Charlie has also completed 16 full marathons, including Boston and NYC.

Five days later, Charlie
celebrated Thanksgiving by running the "grand-daddy" of Georgia's road running events--the Atlanta Thanksgiving Day Half-Marathon--in 1:43:31. Washington Crossing the Delaware Reenactment,
Washington Crossing Historic Park, December 25

Here's an historic way to spend Christmas Day: join thousands of spectators on the banks of the Delaware River at Washington Crossing Historic Park in beautiful Bucks County to watch a reenactment of General George Washington and his troops cross the river, just as they did in 1776. Several hundred reenactors in Continental military dress are inspired by Gen. Washington's speech, before rowing across the river in replica Durham boats. The family-friendly event features the crossing at 1:00 pm, plus activities and demonstrations in the Historic Park. Learn more at
