Charlie Crawford is a Most Admired CEO
We are proud to announce that Hyperion Bank Chairman and CEO Charlie Crawford has been named to the Philadelphia Business Journal's 2020 list of Most Admired CEOs. In announcing the honorees on November 9, 2020, Ryan Sharrow, the Business Journal's Editor in Chief, noted, "The role of being a CEO requires planning, preparing for new challenges and always being ready for what's next. Add a global pandemic into the mix and, well, things quickly change. The Philadelphia Business Journal's Most Admired CEOs for 2020 are demonstrating the skills needed to lead their companies past the current hurdles and into the future."

The 28 winners for 2020 were selected from more than 80 nominations. This year's honorees, representing diverse companies and nonprofit organizations, will be featured on December 11 in a special print and online edition of the Business Journal.

Please join us in congratulating Charlie on his most recent recognition!

Charlie Crawford completes Peachtree Road Race on Thanksgiving
Hyperion Bank Chairman & CEO Charlie Crawford has a special Thanksgiving tradition: he runs. Since 1989, Charlie has celebrated the holiday by running Atlanta's Thanksgiving Day Half-Marathon (in total, Charlie has completed 17 marathons and more than 25 half-marathons), but like everything else in 2020, this year the iconic race was cancelled, replaced by a virtual running of the annual AJC Peachtree Road Race, another citywide running tradition usually held on Independence Day. Moving the Peachtree 10K to Thanksgiving Day was a great way for Charlie to maintain his running streak and family tradition--this was his 29th Peachtree Road Race!
Dad & Daughter Run: Charlie is passing his running tradition on to his daughter, Kay, who completed her 7th Peachtree Road Race on Thanksgiving Day 2020.

FEATURED BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
Dogphoria, Inc.
3571 Broad St., Chamblee, GA 30341
Dogphoria's Pampered Pets
4225 Union Hill Rd, Canton, GA 30115
Welcome to Dogphoria, where lucky dogs in the Atlanta region find a blissful place to stay and play. Like many local businesses, Dogphoria was born out of personal passion--in this case, a passion to care for furry, four-legged friends.

Prior to launching Dogphoria in February 2013, Robyn and Keith Adams (photo, left & middle) had been fostering dogs and working to help place homeless dogs with forever families. Seeking a new challenge after selling a family business, they created Dogphoria, Inc., a family-owned business where dogs come first.

With business partner Austin Kay (photo, right), Robyn and Keith rebranded an existing business and opened their first Dogphoria location in Chamblee, Georgia. An extremely supportive and welcoming neighborhood helped fuel their success, and led them to open their second spacious location, Dogphoria's Pampered Pets, for the broader Canton community (including Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Roswell, and Milton) in August 2018. Now Dogphoria has 28 dedicated employees who provide doggie daycare and boarding services in both locations.
Alisha Nasse, Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development at Hyperion Bank's Atlanta office, says, "Dogphoria is a fabulous facility where I am very comfortable leaving my 'fur' babies, knowing they are always being well taken care of by the wonderful staff there. I have left my older dog in their larger private suites overnight and had the great fortune of receiving texts from my dog, with photos to let me know what a good time she was having at Dogphoria!"

Robyn and Keith have been banking with Alisha and Steve Cope, Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager in our Atlanta office, for more than a decade. Robyn says, "We enjoy the relationships and communication we have with Alisha and Steve, now at Hyperion Bank, and it's great to have the same banking team in place for such a long period of time. They are great partners who have helped us build a business where we get to live out our passion and can continue to rescue dogs in need."
Dogphoria is open seven days a week. To learn more and find contact info, visit them at Dogphoria (Chamblee) or Dogphoria's Pampered Pets (Canton), and follow them on social media:

Most significantly, the number of vendors has been halved, and the 60 wooden vendor booths will be spread out across both Love Park and City Hall. Glowing Herrnhut stars decorating the tops of each booth create a glittering environment for a curated collection of local and international gifts, including ornaments from Käthe Wohlfahrt--Germany's top decor company, plus handcrafted Christmas ornaments made in Russia, Ukraine, Scandinavia, Egypt, and more. Find unique wintry apparel, jewelry, toys, and home accessories; enjoy live music and performances; and sample raclette and other traditional food and beverages. Learn more to plan your visit.
