Dear Friend of Classical Music

All year long, WBJC provides music lovers across the Baltimore Region with an inspiring, enriching journey of pleasure and discovery to an oasis of classical music.

From timeless masterpieces that have enthralled generations to the best contemporary compositions, from the subtlety of a chamber work to the majesty of grand opera, WBJC is your ideal companion – always reliable, always available, always ready to perform, just for you!

Music on WBJC is joyful, sublime, and inspiring – what an unsettling time calls for!

What sets WBJC apart is the simple fact that we see our audience as our community to serve, not consumers to sell to. But what really makes WBJC unique is that this public service is funded by the community we are here to serve. YOU and your support make WBJC possible!

This means every symphony, concerto, sonata, or song you enjoy on WBJC plays from a stage built on the strong support of generous members like you!

Together with your neighbors, your donation now is the renewable energy that will help play beautiful and joyful music on WBJC every day in 2023.

You have the power to play symphonies by Mozart, concertos by Bach, operas by Verdi, and sonatas by Beethoven. YOU fill the air with beautiful music for everyone here!

Your support helps brighten the days of so many classical music lovers with wonderful playlists and knowledgeable hosts, with the timeless, uplifting beauty of programs like, Face the Music, Vocalise, and Toccata.

When you join with your neighbors to support WBJC, you invest in the future of our region, ensuring that everyone here has access to the experience of classical music.

Musical discovery, warm companionship, the delights of the old and the new, an oasis of comfort and joy – that’s what you count on WBJC for, what brings balance to difficult times.

With gratitude and appreciation for your support,

Richard Miles
General Manager

P.S. Joyful music playing on WBJC every day is not something to be taken for granted – it relies on listener support like yours. Please make your vital year-end gift today.
