Hon. Westbrook J. Parker (Ret.)
Retired Chief Judge, City of Suffolk Circuit Court
The Honorable Westbrook J. Parker has recently returned to The McCammon Group (McCammon) after serving as the Executive Director of The Camp Foundation for over a decade. An experienced mediator and arbitrator, he originally joined McCammon in 2010 after twenty-four years of distinguished judicial service on the Circuit Court bench for the City of Suffolk. Prior to the bench, Judge Parker was in private practice handling a wide variety of cases including but not limited to personal injury, product liability, contracts, and trusts & estates. He has admirably served his community in several capacities including as Chairman of the Pandemic Flu Preparedness Commission, Member of the Board of Directors of the Franklin-Southampton Charities, President of the Franklin Area Flood Fund, Member of the Elms Foundation, and Past President of the Camp Foundation. Judge Parker now brings this record of dedication and service back to McCammon to serve the mediation, arbitration, and judge pro tempore needs of lawyers and litigants throughout the Commonwealth and beyond.

Hon. Jeri K. Somers (Ret.)
Retired Chief Judge, United States Civilian Board of Contract Appeals
The Honorable Jeri K. Somers has joined The McCammon Group after 18 years of dedicated service as a Judge of the United States Civilian Board of Contract Appeals (CBCA) where she most recently held the position of Chief Judge. Before the creation of the CBCA, Judge Somers served as an administrative judge on the Department of Transportation Board of Contract Appeals. A retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force (USAF), Judge Somers served as the Staff Judge Advocate for the DC Air National Guard and as a military lawyer both on active duty and in the reserves in the USAF. She has extensive litigation experience outside of the military, having served as an attorney in the US Department of Justice Civil Division and as an Assistant US Attorney in the Eastern District of VA, Alexandria Division. Judge Somers is an experienced mediator and arbitrator with more than 100 cases to her credit, primarily in the government contracts and employment arenas. A dedicated educator, she is a Professorial Lecturer in Law at the George Washington University School of Law and an adjunct professor at the American University Washington College of Law. Judge Somers now brings this exemplary record of commitment and leadership to The McCammon Group to serve the mediation and arbitration needs of lawyers and litigants in the District of Columbia and beyond.

Robert “Robby” Peay, Esq. has joined us as General Counsel. Robby has served as our outside corporate counsel for many years. As General Counsel he will now be devoting half of his professional time to our work, advising us regarding legal, ethical, and business matters. Robby graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Managerial Economics from Hampden-Sydney College. He received his J.D., cum laude, and an M.B.A. from the University of Richmond. Robby began his career as a law clerk for Justice Donald W. Lemons (Ret.) on the Supreme Court of Virginia. He then worked in the litigation and corporate sections at two large Virginia-based law firms before leaving. In 2012, Robby opened his own law firm specializing in outsourced general counsel services which included serving as General Counsel to Synalloy Corporation (NASDAQ: SYNL) until 2021. We are pleased to welcome Robby’s legal and business experience to our team.
Jackie Taylor is our newest Case Manager. Jackie graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Psychology. She subsequently completed a Master's of Criminal Justice at Liberty University. Jackie comes to us after working for three years as a Legal Assistant. Please join us in welcoming Jackie to the team.
