Citizens’ Environmental Advisory Committee (CEAC)
The mission of the CEAC is to advise the City Council on its environmental efforts with a strong focus on ensuring the advancement of the City of San Antonio’s “Mission Verde” sustainability plan.
Disability Access Advisory Committee
The Disability Access Advisory Committee was established to work closely with the City of San Antonio Disability Access Office as part of San Antonio's efforts to provide accessible services and facilities for citizens with disabilities.
Ethics Review Board
In May 2004, the City Charter was amended to establish an independent Ethics Review Board with jurisdiction over the City Ethics Code and the Municipal Campaign Finance Regulations.
Neighborhood Improvements Advisory Committee
The Neighborhood Improvements Advisory Committee was established by City Council on December 15, 2016 to ensure ongoing citizen feedback throughout implementation of the proposed 2017 Neighborhood Improvements Bond.
Neighborhood Code Enforcement Task Force
Three years ago Development Services Department (DSD) and City Council created the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Task Force (NCTEF). The task force helps improve Code Enforcement’s operational effectiveness and strengthens partnerships between Code Enforcement and neighborhoods. San Antonio Youth Commission
Two (2) members are chosen from each Council District, and the Mayor selects two (2) at-large student members. Members must be students from local high schools. The goals and objectives of the Commission are to respond to current situations affecting young persons and to develop solutions for problems. The Youth Commission further works toward unifying the youth of San Antonio into a positive force for the good of the community. The operational year for the Youth Commission is from August to May. Meetings are held once a month on Sundays at 2:00 PM in the City Hall Media Briefing Room, 100 Military Plaza. Special meetings are called as needed.
