Don't Forget the Census!

TOMORROW (Wednesday, April 1) is the last day to be counted! Please encourage your family, friends, employees, and others to complete the Census. The amount of funding our communities receive to provide needed services is directly dependent on participation in the Census! The online survey is available at www.my2020census.gov or by calling 844-330-2020 and takes about 10 minutes to complete.

HOW NetworkPeninsula IS HELPING - We are keeping the lines of communication wide open with our nonprofits to ensure that we are helping in the best way we can to help them remain sustainable, able to continue to help those in need.

With the use of an online messaging platform, we have discussion boards open all day with continuous communications from our nonprofits re: resources available to help them and help each other. The coordination of services we have seen has been awe-inspiring!

We have launched a series of short webinars on topics impacting nonprofits during COVID, including Messaging, Effective Board Meetings Online, Taking Care of Employees, and more.

We continue to update our website with the most recent needs from our nonprofits, as well as services still being provided for people in need and how to access these services.

Lastly, we are curating all of the many resources that are coming in through email and other channels, onto one page by category and with quick access to full links.

The American Red Cross faces a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations in recent days. Event Cancellation? Are you holding a ticket to an event that had to be cancelled due to COVID-19? If you are able, consider donating the event registration to the organization to cover their lost projected revenue. .
