The recently implemented
CARES Act
now provides donors with a
universal tax deduction of up to $300 on their 2020 tax return
if they take the standard deduction. This reinstates the opportunity for gifts of all sizes to qualify as tax deductible. This above-the-line deduction does not apply to donors who itemize their deductions, however, the added tax incentive that increases the cap on charitable contributions from 60% of your AGI to 100% will benefit those who itemize as well! Check w/ your tax advisor to learn more!

Here at
NetworkPeninsula, we are working hard to keep the lines of communication wide open with our nonprofits and to ensure that we are helping them in the best way possible to remain sustainable, able to continue their valuable work in our communities.
|
|
- With the use of an online messaging platform, we have discussion boards open all day with continuous communications from our nonprofits re: resources available and more. The coordination of services we have seen has been awe-inspiring!
- We have launched a series of weekly webinars on topics impacting nonprofits during COVID, including Messaging, Effective Online Board Meetings, Fiduciary Oversight, Leaadership Challenges, Quickbooks, and more.
|
|
- We have moved our Peer to Peer Coffees online! Our Virtual Coffees for nonprofit professionals provide a platform to share challenges, ask for help, and find support from peers.
- We continue to update our website with the most recent NEEDS from our nonprofits, as well as SERVICES still being provided for people in need and how to access these services.
- We are curating all of the many RESOURCES coming in through email & other channels, onto one page, by category, and with links to more info.
