Heating Assistance - The State Department of Social Services offers assistance for families to heat their homes if they lack heat, if their utilities are about to be cut off or if their residence is outfitted with inoperable or unsafe heating equipment. Beginning January 2, 2020, the department will offer additional assistance for people who need help paying for heating fuel or their utility bill. To learn more,
