Last week, NetworkPeninsula kicked off its Series, "Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: A Collective Learning Journey," held in partnership with the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters Foundation. We welcomed 36 nonprofit leaders, including staff and board members, who will take part in this five-part educational series which also includes five discussion sessions following each educational session.

Emergency Food & Shelter Program (EFSP) - United Way of the Virginia Peninsula will administer federal funds for fiscal year FY20 (Phase 38). Funds are available for nonprofits, faith-based, and government agencies that are providing emergency services for residents of Hampton, Newport News, the City of Williamsburg, and James City County. Applications are due January 22 by 5:00 pm. To learn more about the program, click here. Small Business Energy Relief - The Dominion EnergyShare Initiative assists businesses impacted by COVID-19. This will help pay unpaid electric bills from September to December 2020. For application, click here.
