LYOrdination and Installation Services this Sunday - 11/17
Join us this Sunday for the joy! We will be ordaining Louden Young, our new Associate Pastor for Emerging Generations and Mission, during the 9:00 a.m. FirstLight service.

At 10:00 a.m., there will be a reception for Louden and his wife, Elizabeth in the Atrium. ChristmasWishes lists will be available in the Library to make room for the reception.

Then at the 11:05 a.m. traditional service, we'll install the newly ordained Rev. Louden Young.

Join us!
CWChristmasWishes Lists Available - 11/10
ChristmasWishes time is coming! Now through November 24, stop by the Library between services and pick up a wish list for a Blount County child ($100 maximum) or a teen hygiene bag list (about $12), then shop and return your gifts to the Atrium on or before Sunday, December 1.

Our ChristmasWishes Celebration event is Wednesday, December 18, at 5 p.m.

Many volunteers of all ages are needed for this joyous evening. Look for signups in mid-November in the Atrium. Contact Judy Woods ([email protected]) or Diane Pezick ([email protected]) for more information.
YOThe Ornaments are Coming!
This year, the NPPC Youth Connection will again be selling "Stained Glass" series ornaments to raise money for their trip to Guatemala in Summer 2021. For the past seven years, the Youth Connection has sold ornaments depicting various stain glass windows in the NPPC sanctuary.

The new addition this year is the Livingstone window. Additional bundles, previous years' designs, and exclusive pricing will also be available. Pre-order forms will be available in mid-November. Inventory is limited, so you are encouraged to pre-order if you want a chance at getting the ornament(s) you want. If you have any questions, please reach out to Louden ([email protected], 865-983-0182 x109).
PWCCome One, Come All! - 12/5
The Presbyterian Women of the Congregation would like to invite everyone to their Christmas gathering on Thursday, December 5, at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. The Alcoa High School Men's Choir, under the direction of Trent Gilmore, will provide the program. Bring a friend and come join us.

RSResearch Study Survey
Rylee Worstell, UT student, has asked if we would participate in a survey for one of her classes:

This is a part of an ethnographic research study regarding the effects of music in a worship setting. It should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete. All responses are voluntary and will remain anonymous. Responses will be complied and analyzed as a group. I appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey!
