CSChildren's Sunday - 11/10
Mark your calendars for Children's Sunday on November 10th. The children of the church 5th grade and younger will be doing everything from welcoming everyone at the doors to leading the service and sharing special music. There will be a brunch for the children between the services.
CFMC Choir Festival to Benefit Good Neighbors - 11/9
The New Providence Chancel Choir will perform two selections themselves and then join in a mass choir at the Maryville College Choir Festival which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9th at 6:00 p.m. in the Ronald and Linda Nutt Theatre.

The choral festival will highlight Good Neighbors and the work they do in the community. In addition to the Chancel Choir, the College's Concert Choir and vocal ensemble Off Kilter will sing as well as choirs from Heritage High School, Powell High School, William Blount High School, Alcoa High School, New Providence Chancel Choir and Pellissippi State Community College.

Tickets, which are $5, can be purchased from the Clayton Center Box Office or calling 865.981.8590. Donations for Good Neighbors of Blount County are greatly appreciated.
CWChristmasWishes Lists Available - 11/10
ChristmasWishes time is coming! On Sunday, November 10, 17 and 24, stop by the Atrium between services and pick up a wish list for a Blount County child ($100 maximum) or a teen hygiene bag list (about $12), then shop and return your gifts to the Atrium on or before Sunday, December 1.

Our ChristmasWishes Celebration event is Wednesday, December 18, at 5 p.m.

Many volunteers of all ages are needed for this joyous evening. Look for signups in mid-November in the Atrium. Contact Judy Woods (jpwoods2@juno.com) or Diane Pezick (diane.pezick@gmail.com) for more information.
YOThe Ornaments are Coming!
This year, the NPPC Youth Connection will again be selling "Stained Glass" series ornaments to raise money for their trip to Guatemala in Summer 2021. For the past seven years, the Youth Connection has sold ornaments depicting various stain glass windows in the NPPC sanctuary.

The new addition this year is the Livingstone window. Additional bundles, previous years' designs, and exclusive pricing will also be available. Pre-order forms will be available in mid-November. Inventory is limited, so you are encouraged to pre-order if you want a chance at getting the ornament(s) you want. If you have any questions, please reach out to Louden (louden@newprovidencepres.org, 865-983-0182 x109).
RSResearch Study Survey
Rylee Worstell, UT student, has asked if we would participate in a survey for one of her classes:

This is a part of an ethnographic research study regarding the effects of music in a worship setting. It should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete. All responses are voluntary and will remain anonymous. Responses will be complied and analyzed as a group. I appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey!
