Well Read: Adjunct Lecturer Catherine Kapphahn (right) participated in a reading at Topaz Arts in Queens, for a Spring Salon event in May. Her memoir Immigrant Daughter: Stories You Never Told Me received The Center for Fiction’s Christopher Doheny Award and was published by Audible.

Out There: Late last week most classes and work went virtual and the Annual Leadership Gala was postponed due to the effects of Canadian wildfire smoke in New York. Lehman ESOL instructor Margaret Ibasco shared this photo of the sun taken through the haze from the Bronx.
