Hi
,This is a special week for us all.... and I hope that in the midst of your service to others, you've been able to take some personal time to experience God's love for you in a way that is meaningful.
I will be attending an intimate Sunrise Service on Easter morning at a small amphitheater in the woods at a local YMCA. It will be even more special this year as a good friend of mine will be giving the message.
Today in Charlotte, we are experiencing a soaking rain in the form of a light drizzle. We need the water that this rain is bringing. This light rain brings to mind the spiritual significance of the word water.
On this Good Friday, as you are reminded of the blood that Jesus shed for you so that your sins can be forgiven, I want to also remind you that Jesus' obedience to his Father makes it possible for you to drink from The Living Water.
If you are tired and weary from your service to the Lord and his people during this busy season, my prayer is that you'll take time to quench your thirst by drinking from the Well of Life and in doing this, you'll be restored.
On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." John 7:37
As always, let me know if I can pray for you in any specific way.
Have a blessed Easter.
Your Brother in Christ,
Dale Dale Fletcher, M.S.
