Your Eyes Are a Window Into Your Brain….
Here is a recap what this research confirms is something we see every week in our clinic: many traditional evaluations miss signs of brain dysfunction because they’re not measuring how the brain is actually functioning.
Standard tools like MRIs, basic reflex tests, and cognitive screenings are helpful—but they’re designed to look for major damage or structural issues. They’re not built to pick up on the more subtle changes in brain function that often drive symptoms after a concussion.
That’s why people can still struggle with things like brain fog, light sensitivity, fatigue, emotional ups and downs, and difficulty with exercise—even when their tests come back “normal.”
