It is with great excitement that we announce that applications for Fall Commencement are still being accepted if you are eligible! Make sure to check with a counselor to be certain you are qualified to graduate sooner than later. This is your chance to make history and celebrate early! 🎉

• Extra Guest Tickets – Bring more family and friends with ample seating.
• Graduate Early – Don’t wait until Spring 2026 to walk the stage.
• Holiday Season Celebration – End the year with your degree in hand.
• Be Part of History – Join the first group of IVC Fall graduates.

⏰ Important Deadlines:

• October 23, 2025 - Last day to talk to a counselor to petition your participation in the ceremony.
• October 24, 2025 - Last day to order regalia (cap & gown).
• Your regalia receipt is your participation confirmation!

Dear Students, 
This notice is to inform you of scheduled system maintenance for our Banner and WebSTAR systems, which are essential for critical database and application upgrades.

Details of the Outage:

• Start Time: Friday, October 17th, at 5:00 PM
• End Time: Sunday, October 19th, by 11:59 PM (The systems will be unavailable throughout this period.)

Impact on Services:

During this outage, access to key functionalities will be temporarily unavailable. This includes services such as registration, student records, and other features managed through Banner and WebSTAR.

We sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause to your academic workflow or activities.

Systems NOT Affected:

Please note that this maintenance will not impact access to:

• Canvas
• Your college email
• The college website
• Other Single Sign-On (SSO) applications

We kindly ask that you plan accordingly and complete any necessary transactions or tasks within Banner or WebSTAR before 5:00 PM on Friday, October 17th.

We are committed to minimizing the duration of the outage and restoring normal operations as quickly as possible you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to enhance the reliability and performance of our systems.

Starting Fall 2025, you’ll be allowed one active Program of Study at a time, which means your financial aid will count toward one degree and one related certificate.

This focused approach ensures your aid only goes toward classes that count toward graduation or transfer, helping you stay on track, save money, and make the most of your financial aid.
