Prologis builds innovative mass timber project
Prologis is one of Canada’s leading developers and they are currently building one of the most innovative constructive projects in North America. Using sustainably sourced mass timber – which has 62% less carbon than steel – their new facility will use approximately 1,100 fewer tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions.
This is the equivalent of 259 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles driven for one year, the electricity use by 226 homes for one year or more than 50,000 trash bags of waste recycled instead of landfilled.
