Dear Valued Patient,

We hope this email finds you well and enjoying the fall season.

Many of you have joined our practice 'virtually' and may not be aware of the history of RCBM and our many programs and professionals.

RCBM is proud to offer medication management, individual and group therapy, medical nutrition therapy, comprehensive diagnostic assessment, clinical research trials, and a variety of specialized programs, including:

RCBM's multi-disciplinary team now consists of nearly 100 professionals, including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychologists, social workers, counselors, dietitians, psychometricians, Spravato technicians, clinical research coordinators, and of course, our amazing administrative team.

Under the leadership of our medical director, Joel L. Young, MD, our team works collaboratively to ensure that your care, and your experience at RCBM, are top-notch.

In 2023, we will celebrate 30 years in practice. We are in the midst of planning the many ways we want to commemorate this important milestone and look forward to sharing this celebration with you in the year to come.

In the meantime, here are some updates that we wanted to share.

Over shoulder view of female worker have webcam digital virtual conference with diverse multiethnic colleagues. Woman speak talk on video call with multiracial businesspeople. Online meeting concept.

Virtual ADHD Group Now Enrolling

We are now enrolling for a psychoeducational group for adults (18 and up) with ADHD. Topics will include time management, organizational skills, self-regulation, relationship issues, communication skills, and coping.

The group will be co-facilitated by Katy Mason, LMSW and our clinical intern, Taylor Fair, BA. It will be held via Zoom on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:15pm, from November 2nd through December 7th.  Click here to complete an interest form.

Questions? Feel free to email Taylor Fair, at: tfair@rcbm.net.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Trial

Our clinical research team is currently recruiting for an 8-week Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Trial. If you are 18-65 and have severe fatigue lasting 6 months or longer that is not alleviated by rest, you may qualify for participation. Enrolled subjects will receive stipends for time and travel.

If you are interested in seeing whether you qualify or want to learn about our other trials, please feel free to reach out to our study coordinator, Ashley Koelb, at akoelb@rcbm.net.

Dr. Young on Navigating the Back-To-School Transition

Back-to-school can be a difficult time for parents and kids alike. By now, most families are settled into their new routines. If your child is still struggling, your family may benefit from additional support.

Dr. Young's recent Psychology Today blog takes a deeper dive into this topic.  Click here to check it out.

We hope you enjoy the crisp fall days heading our way and we look forward to seeing you soon.
