Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation Announces First Grant Cycle of 2020
The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation announces its first grant cycle for 2020 for local charitable nonprofits. Applications will be accepted through Friday, February 14, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. CST. Grants will be awarded to organizations that enhance the quality of life in Linn County. United Way Accepting Nominations for 2020 Volunteer Awards
United Way of East Central Iowa is now accepting nominations for the 2020 Volunteer Awards. The awards are presented during the annual Time For Art: A Celebration of Volunteers event. There are six categories for nomination of an individual, volunteer group, or business. Nominations are due on February 10. Find more information here .

Nonprofits Invited to Apply for Downtown Farmer's Market Space
Nonprofit organizations are offered the opportunity to participate in the Cedar Rapids Downtwon Farmers' Market at no charge, as space allows and at the discretion of Market staff. Organizations interested in being considered for space must complete the application on FarmSpread.com in the same way a traditional market vendor would by February 15 for first consideration. Wellmark Foundation Announces 2020 MATCH Grants
Wellmark Foundation has announced its 2020 MATCH grant programs for 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations in Iowa and South Dakota. Funding focuses on two key areas: increasing access to and consumption of nutritious foods, and creating safe and healthy environments in which to be active. Benton County Community Foundation Now Accepting Grant Applications
Applications are now being accepted for the Benton County Community Foundation's 2020 grant cycle. Grant applicants must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization or government entity serving Benton County. Applications are due on March 15, 2020. Please find more information here . Training Opportunities
The Nonprofit Network invites local nonprofit professionals to participate in monthly peer learning and networking groups. Peer groups are open to those currently working for a nonprofit organization. Peer groups are not designed for job seekers, students, or vendors (unless noted).
