Whether you love sports or have no sports experience at all, you can become a Special Olympics Colorado coach! Coaches are the key to a successful sports experience for Special Olympics athletes. As a coach, you give Special Olympics athletes the most immediate awareness of their self-worth, ability, courage, and capacity to grow and improve both on the playing field and in life. You will receive information and training necessary (at no cost to you) to become a coach. We offer in-person training sessions throughout the year. Click here to learn more about becoming a coach.
Tax time is here and you can help end discrimination against individuals with intellectual disabilities. Whether you are getting a tax refund or not, you can make a donation to Special Olympics Colorado on line 11 on the Colorado Tax Form. As one of the 20 charities listed, Special Olympics Colorado must raise $75,000 to remain a listed nonprofit. Your gift may be deductible on your 2017 taxes. Your gift stays in Colorado. Your gift changes lives. Click here to learn more.
