This year's Ernie Strickland Scholarship recipients are William Woods, who is attending UNB, and Aidan Stone, who is attending MCFT. Forest NB has awarded the Ernie Strickland Memorial Scholarship annually since 1998 to forest sector family member. This memorial scholarship honours Ernie Strickland, who was an instructor at the Maritime Forest Ranger School and a dedicated volunteer to the forestry sector.

Every tree sustainably harvested creates opportunities to provide shelter and warmth to families across our country. But that's not all – the wood used in these homes stores the carbon taken from the atmosphere during tree growth for the entire lifespan of the home. 🌎💚
