Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Shrove Tuesday (Virtual) Pancake Dinner and for Ash Wednesday services.

As it is now officially the liturgical season of Lent,
  • If you are using one of our Sacred Space tool kits, now is the time to use the purple ribbon.
  • Lenten Meditations are available daily, Monday - Saturday. These meditations are a diverse collection of reflections led by clergy and lay persons and may include music, graphics, scripture, and more.
  • We will be abstaining from using the word <alleluia> within liturgy and worship music.
  • The "Revive Lent" formation series met for the first time this past Wednesday, and will continue to meet online each Wednesday during Lent.

Reminder: Email Phishing Scams

Across the country, scammers often email church members pretending to be a clergy member. They might:
  • Ask for a favor
  • Ask to purchase numerous gift cards with the promise of reimbursement
  • Appear to be sincere
  • Use an email address that at first glance looks convincing
  • Use proper titles, "The Rt. Rev._______"
  • Will suggest their own verification procedures, like going to websites they have created or calling numbers they provide to you
  • Create a sense of urgency to get you to make decisions without thinking

Please remember that any direct requests for assistance for a parishioner can only come from - and be responded to - via clergy.

Legitimate emails from St. Paul's are always in this format, or and legitimate emails from the diocese in this format,
