Your Fund at Work - YMCA Strong & Safe Girls

With support from the Women’s Fund, girls in the Greater Green Bay YMCA’s Strong & Safe Girls program are building more than self-defense skills—they’re building confidence, resilience, and the courage to speak up for themselves. Read more about how this program is helping young women discover their strength and thrive.

Giving that Grows - Fundholder Spotlight

Sue Porath’s involvement with the Women’s Fund began with volunteering. She later

shared her skills and connections to help the Fund grow. In 2013, she and her husband,

Mark, established the Susan and Mark Porath Family Fund for Women and Girls. Sue’s

story shows how giving your time can grow into a lasting commitment to your

community.

Powerful 2026: A Celebration of Possibility

Our 21st Annual Powerful luncheon brought together hundreds of community members for an afternoon of connection, inspiration and impact—and together, we raised more than $183,000 to support the Women’s Fund mission! *

Keynote speaker Alana Nichols delivered a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we lift one another up and believe in the strength of our collective impact.

Because of the generosity of our supporters, the Women’s Fund endowment has now surpassed $5 million—creating lasting opportunities for women and girls across the Greater Green Bay area. Every gift, partnership and act of generosity since our founding has helped make this milestone possible.

Together, we’re building a community where every woman can thrive and every girl can be powerful.

Celebrating Women & Grit

The Women’s Fund was proud to be a charity partner of the Bellin Women’s Half Marathon & 5K, cheering on incredible women pursuing big goals and showing their grit. We loved connecting with runners at the Health & Wellness Expo, sharing our mission and helping participants get their GRIT tattoos before race day. The inspiration continued at the race dinner, featuring GRIT 920’s Grit Girl Yoga, one of our recent grantees. We’re grateful to be part of a community that celebrates, supports and lifts women up.
