Clifton Cultural Arts Center (CCAC) is excited to announce that applications for "New Woman," a juried group exhibition showcasing art from women artists in Cincinnati, are now open through Jan. 30. In addition to having their work shown during the exhibition, one winning artist will be selected from the group show for the biennial New Woman Fellowship at CCAC, receiving a solo exhibition and honorarium in the following year.
Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI) is grateful to The Erma A. Bantz Foundation for a $15,000 grant for Adaptive Daily Living and Safe Travel Instruction and Equipment for People with Severe Vision Loss.

The Samaritan Car Care Clinic in Covington is pleased to share that it has received a grant from the Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr. Foundation Northern Kentucky Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation. This grant will allow the Clinic to address transportation barriers for multiple low-income families referred to the Clinic by Northern KY based social service agencies.
HER Cincinnati, the region's oldest social service agency focused on Housing, Education and Recovery for local women, presents HER Unfiltered, an evening centered on the lived experiences of women who have rebuilt their lives with honesty and courage. Easterseals Redwood held its annual Brighter Futures Celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, at the American Sign Museum. Each year highlights several outstanding individuals (and one very giving community partner) in a powerful awards ceremony that honors their stories of accomplishment. 2025 award recipients: Outstanding Community Partner - The Farmer Family Foundation, Independence Award - Karena Girten, Growing Abilities Award - Lucy B., Spirit of Easterseals Redwood Award - Diamond Snowden, Upward Mobility Award - Bentley Edwards.
The 56th annual Cincinnati Home + Garden Show will return in 2026 to the newly renovated Cincinnati Convention Center, after a one-year hiatus due to convention center renovations. Organizers are gearing up to welcome the Queen City to the reimagined show, which will be held the across two, three-day weekends for the first time ever: February 20–22 and February 27–March 1, 2026.
People Working Cooperatively's Annual Prepare Affair volunteer event provided fall cleanup services for low-income seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities throughout the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. Approximately 2,000 volunteers gathered for the big volunteer day on Saturday, Nov. 15, to rake leaves and clean gutters at more than 700 homes. More information can be found here.
Adventure Crew and long-time partner Roads Rivers and Trails (RRT) hosted their annual Outdoor Fashion Show on Wednesday, December 10 at The Barn in Mariemont. Highlights of the evening included a social hour and a runway show featuring sustainable outdoor clothing and gear from RRT. The event raised more than $6,000 to support Adventure Crew's programs, which connect city teens with nature and each other through engaging outdoor adventures.
Charm at the Farm concluded its ninth season of successful markets with a meaningful gift to uplift Cincinnati's aging community, donating more than $12,000 to its 2025 charitable partner, the Giving Voice Foundation (GVF), a local nonprofit that provides no-cost programs and services for older adults living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, as well as their caregivers, across the Tri-State.

CABVI appreciates a $2,500 grant from Charles Scott Riley Foundation to help provide support groups for people with vision loss.
Now in its fifth year, Adopt-A-Family benefited 188 families, exceeding our goal of bringing joy to 150 families. Many are kinship care families, in which children are temporarily cared for by relatives or family friends with close ties to a parent facing difficult circumstances. The arrangement lets parents focus on their situation, knowing their children are safe and well cared for.
