Did you know we have a new Leadership Strand?

This year's Innovation Summit has a great learning strand just for school leaders! Missouri educational experts will be sharing innovative approaches for providing students authentic, personalized learning. Hear how districts are connecting business and education through the Real World Learning initiative, even in rural communities. Also, find out about the new Success Ready Students Initiative, how your district might be part of the Missouri Innovation Zones, and engage in a deeper conversation with keynote Bill Daggett. There is also a section designed to help leaders with current budgeting challenges.

Please note this is the same strand designated for our FFL Network. But all superintendents, assistant superintendents, principals and teacher leaders will find this information pertinent. You may choose to attend all or just part of these leadership strand sessions. These are timely topics for all Missouri educators!!!

New things are happening at GOCSD that you need to know about! Superintendents and University Members are invited to enjoy a lunch provided by MoCAAT and Stifel at the Innovation Summit while getting an insider’s peek at the innovative things we have in the works including: the program for our Membership Meetings with topics that support MSIP 6, a new advocacy series for leaders, and support for the Success Ready Students Initiative. Hear from other districts on how they are maximizing their GOCSD membership. As a member driven organization we also want to hear what your needs are and how GOCSD can help.

Our goal to get 100% of our Members represented at Innovation Summit. Currently 55 of our 87 Members have educators registered for the conference. Register now and help us reach our goal.

Innovation Summit is GOCSD’s showcase professional learning event and the premiere educational conference in Southwest Missouri. Our keynote speakers are Dr. Bill Daggett and Kim Bearden. It is held in Branson on August 4-5th.

The #TeacherProud Tuesday Toolkit 2.0 is now available. The updated Toolkit has new templates and resources that make it easy to join the celebration on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, starting Sept 13th.

The kit includes some new intentional messaging that supports the purpose of the campaign, accounts to tag to get your message noticed, new artwork templates, and ideas to extend the reach of the campaign.
