Don't Let Thieves Steal Your Joy this Holiday Season
With the holiday season upon us, Gahanna Police want to remind residents to keep a watchful eye on their personal belongings. Here are a few tips to help protect your items while doing some holiday shopping:

  • Do not put your purse or bag in a shopping cart and leave it unattended. Not even for a second.
  • Do not hang your purse or bag over a chair while sitting in a public place.
  • Do not carry more cash or credit cards than needed.

Along with the holiday season comes increased opportunities for package theft. To avoid the porch pirates, have packages delivered to a safe location or have a trusted neighbor keep an eye out for deliveries in your absence.

As always, if you see something, say something! To report a theft, contact the Gahanna Division of Police at 614.342.4240.

Happy Holidays from the Gahanna Division of Police!
