Dr. Makwana completed his surgical training with a General Surgery residency at the University of Hawai'i and a Plastic Surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, earning multiple awards for surgical excellence, compassionate patient care, and dedication to teaching.

While skilled in the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, specializes in breast surgery and body contouring, blending technical precision with an artistic eye. Before joining Northside Plastic Surgery, he honed his skills in Northern California, gaining extensive experience in advanced cosmetic techniques and achieving board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery with a score in the 97th percentile nationally.

Outside the operating room, Shreyas enjoys surfing, cooking, playing/building guitars, and hiking with his Goldendoodle. Dr. Mak is a hard-working, experienced, and knowledgeable doctor who is an invaluable addition to the Northside Plastic Surgery team.
