Thank you to everyone who donated in the final days of 2018!

We are now only

away from closing out our Full Tummy Project.

Just hearing about the Full Tummy Project?

Brooke USA’s Full Tummy Project is focusing attention on the myriad of ways in which the equine welfare programs that we fund improve the lives of animals (which raises the standard of living for people who depend on them) by improving the quantity and quality of their food.

From teaching owners how to grow nutritionally balanced and drought-tolerant crops for their animals, to enhancing feed with locally sourced supplements such as sugar cane, beet pulp, beer residue, maize, and other natural products which are easily and inexpensively accessed, it all makes a world of difference to hungry and suffering animals.

Hydroponics projects that help owners to grow green fodder in drought-prone areas, emergency feeding programs during famine, and other programs are tackling many on-going nutritional challenges immediately and for future generations.

Donate to Brooke USA’s Full Tummy Project, which will allow us to fund a number of programs this year, all of which include ways to ease the suffering of hungry animals and, by extension, the people who depend on them.

You’ll be helping animals and many of the world’s poorest people. This is a way to make long-term welfare improvements and to ensure the prevention and alleviation of suffering.

Go behind the scenes and inside the rings at the world’s largest and longest competitive equestrian horse show in Wellington, Florida. At this competition, known as the Winter Equestrian Festival, no matter where a rider comes from or how they land in the ring, one thing is certain: It takes a steadfast determination to beat the best in the world.

All of the author’s proceeds from this book benefit Brooke USA, and Holly Peterson is launching a $10,000 match from the sales of the books.

Help us raise $20,000 total from Holly's book for Brooke USA!

Horses Helping Horses - Meet Our Equine Friends
Have you met our Equine Friends, JJ, Groucho and Mikey? If you haven't get ready to fall in love! These three amigos are equine representatives from Horses With Hope, a rescue in Maine that focuses on horses helping horses, and this winter, they are helping working equines in the developing world by becoming Brooke USA's most recent Equine Friends.

Horses With Hope, LLC was created in 2013 and is a privately-funded organization based out of Broadview Farm in Hope, Maine. Their mission is to offer a comprehensive evaluation and retraining program for rescued equines. They emphasize the importance of consistent, quality training and are committed to helping these horses find life long homes through successful adoptions.

Although the little donkey is already adopted and the buckskin Mikey is a proud Horses With Hope Ambassador, the little black and white mini-gelding Groucho is up for adoption and looking for his human soulmate.

Happy Birthday Tik!
A BIG shout out to ambassador Tik Maynard who turned 37 only a couple of weeks ago! He was kind enough to donate his profits from the sales of his book, In the Middle Are the Horsemen , on that day to Brooke USA. Trafalgar Square Books also donated and helped organize the birthday fundraiser. Supporters received 10% off their book purchase, and a further 25% was donated to the Brooke USA.
