Beginning in Pre-K and continuing through grade 12, CCR-STEM prepare students with the knowledge, skills and dispositions necessary for successful postsecondary engagement leading to STEM career fields. CCR-STEM student-centered goals focus on achievement results aligned with college and work expectations and are benchmarked nationally and/or internationally with the broader goal of producing an advanced national workforce to stabilize our Nation's economy. Implementing rigorous STEM standards across LEAs is an important part of preparing more students for STEM college courses and careers.
