Patriots' Day Weekend marks 250 Years of Revolution! This April, Lexington and Concord commemorate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution with an extraordinary Patriots' Day weekend. The Asparagus Valley Pottery Trail returns on April 25 and 26 for its 22nd annual pottery tour, inviting the public to explore the work of 31 ceramic artists across eight locations throughout the region. Three Historic Deerfield exhibitions explore the American Revolution through imagery, community, and dress. Global prints shaped competing narratives, while Deerfield residents embraced, resisted, or questioned revolutionary ideals. Clothing signaled status and allegiance. Together, objects, documents, garments, and personal stories reveal the Revolution’s promises, contradictions, and lived experiences beyond battlefields nationwide. These exhibits open April 18 and run through January 3, 2027: Picturing the Revolution, A Town Divided: Deerfield in the Age of Revolution and Dressing the Revolution: Fashion and Politics 1760–1789.
