Dear STPPS Community,

It’s that magical time of year! When new notebooks are opened and the excitement of a fresh start fills the air. Our schools are buzzing with anticipation and we can’t wait to welcome our students back!

This year, we’re doing more than starting school, we’re Launching Excellence. We’re making a commitment to inspire, prepare, and propel every student toward a future filled with possibility. Because when we invest in excellence, we launch more than success. We launch futures.

To make sure all of our students start the 2025-26 school year strong, we put all of our back to school resources together for our families. Please take a look below to see everything you need to know for going back to school.

All Students in Pre K-12 Begin the Year with Smart Start Days

August 7: Only Pre K-12 students with last names M-Z attend school on this day.

All students attend school and begin a normal schedule beginning August 8th.

Free School Lunches and Breakfasts for All Students

Free school lunches and breakfasts are available for all students during the 2025-2026 school year through a program called the Community Eligibility Provision. All enrolled students in our 55 schools are eligible to participate in this meal program without having to pay a fee or submit an application. There is no free and reduced meal application this year.
