Derby Dinner Playhouse’s Children’s Theatre presents A Velveteen Rabbit Christmas November 15 – December 20. Christmas presents come to life as a very special toy learns what is real and is changed forever in this enchanting new holiday musical based on the classic book. Santa will be at every performance! Tickets include meal, show, tax, and parking. 

Get in the holiday spirit with a visit to the Clark County Museum. For the holidays only, explore their temporary “White Christmas” exhibit, featuring artifacts from the beloved classic film courtesy of the Rosemary Clooney Museum! Dates and times vary. Click the button for more information.

Unleash your inner detective at one of two Holiday Murder Mystery Dinners happening on December 12 & 13! Step back into the late 1800s at the Culbertson Mansion, where a family feud turns deadly, and it’s up to you to solve the crime. Tickets are $40/person. Call 812-944-9600 to reserve your spot!

Krampus is coming to town. Can you survive his house of holiday horrors? Grab your tickets to Krampusnacht, a Christmas-themed haunted house at the Culbertson Mansion’s House of Anguish, happening December 19 & 20. Tickets are $18/person.

The Scribner House in New Albany will host its Christmas Victorian Tea and Open House from 1 – 5 p.m. on December 7. Learn about the history of the home while enjoying a Victorian-style tea party. This free event is hosted by the Piankeshaw Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Enjoy lots of laughs during this holiday Movie Night featuring “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” at the Charlestown Family Activities Park on Saturday, December 13. Dress up like Cousin Eddie for the costume contest starting at 6:30 p.m., followed by the movie at 7 p.m.

Don’t miss Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom! Experience the magic of the season with Rudolph meet-and-greets, a visit to Santa’s house, tubing down a 175-foot-long hill and much more, all illuminated by over ONE MILLION holiday lights. This event runs now - January 3.

Let Santa know what you want for the holidays this year during Treats from Santa at the Vintage Fire Museum from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on December 13. Children can have their photo taken with Santa, eat sweet treats and check out antique toy fire trucks. Enjoy the museum’s full collection at half-price admission.

Get ready for Cookies & Cocoa with Santa from 9–11 a.m. on Saturday, December 20 at Huber’s Orchard & Winery. Meet Santa, enjoy cookies, cocoa and cider, and take home a festive goodie bag. Santa will be at Huber's every weekend through December 20
