Are You Ready For Back To School?

For students with disabilities, ensuring access to Assistive Technology is vital for a successful school year. Let us help prepare for the school year!

AT in Transition Checklist (for 9th-12th graders) - Use this checklist before & after IEP meetings to make sure you're considering AT through every step of the school transition process.

3D Printed Low-Tech AT - Including reading bars, writing aids, task trackers, and much more. Having tools at your fingertips is as easy as browsing our catalog and submitting your low-tech, 3D printed request.

Introducing the Community Auto Program

The Community Auto Program (CAP), CAP connects people donating working, adapted vehicles to people in need of adapted vehicles!

To donate a vehicle:

Have a working adapted vehicle available to donate;
Contact MDTAP with details about the vehicle including Make, Model, Age, Mileage, and Types of adaptations included.

Details on CAP can be found here. MDTAP staff will connect you to potential recipients and provide guidance on the donation process.

If you would like to donate a working, adapted vehicle, please email mdtap.general@maryland.gov.
