Spring/Summer 2020

Dear Healthcare Leaders,

I hope that you are enjoying the last lovely days of summer,

This has certainly been a unique year for all of us and our chapter. Our board and committee members have been hard at work planning several virtual connection and education opportunities. Some of you may have already participated in one of these.

I’d like to thank the HLNDV board for their time and efforts this summer to update the HLNDV strategic plan. This process is undertaken every 3 years. Typically, the board meets in person for an all-day retreat. This year, we held our first ever virtual summer board retreat! The goal of this work was to both refresh our chapter’s efforts to meet member needs, as well as to ensure alignment with the ACHE overarching strategic plan.

As we move into the Fall, the HLNDV board will finalize this strategic planning work. We will also begin to offer additional virtual education and networking forums. In addition to what we offer locally, our chapter will continue to share events held by ACHE nationally and events hosted by other regional healthcare organizations. We’d like to help our members have access to as many learning opportunities as possible. Please look for these in our weekly emails, on our website, and social media.

If you would like to become involved with our chapter, we would be happy to welcome you into one of our committees. Please contact me at the email below, or our Volunteer Coordinator, Meredith, at [email protected]
