Pool Opening

Pool Rules

We’re getting ready for opening day!


Offseason maintenance included acid washing the lazy river, repainting the water feature, and repairing cracked pool steps.


Security will be onsite during opening week (Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM) as the Board evaluates ongoing coverage needs.

Gym Hours: 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Amenity Center Hours: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM


Please note: homeowner accounts must be current to access amenities.

Director Updates

Our Newest Partner

The Association has entered into a 7-year revenue sharing agreement with Horry Telephone Cooperative (HTC), which includes an initial $46,000 from HTC in addition to quarterly revenue sharing payments.


After evaluating multiple proposals, the Board selected HTC based on stronger long-term financial return, including upfront funding, quarterly revenue sharing, and incentives tied to HTC's customer growth.


HTC will share a portion of their internet service revenue with the Association each quarter, and will pay a $200 “door fee” for each new HTC customer in The Parks. As more homeowners choose HTC, the Association’s revenue share increases. This agreement does not affect your choice of provider.


Revenue from this partnership may support long-term goals such as future amenities, community events, and helping manage potential increases in annual dues.

Speed Hump Study

A traffic study is currently scheduled for the week of April 6th (weather permitting). Traffic counters will be placed on portions of Calhoun Falls Dr., Laurens Mill Dr., Fort Hill Way, and Huger Park Ave.


We understand that your road may not be listed above. This is our first step in the right direction and the Board is dedicated to meeting homeowner's expectations on this issue.

Owner-to-Renter Ratio

Active renter percentage is now at the 20% cap.

If you want to join the Rentals Waiting List, please submit a request.

Common Area Updates

  • Mulch renewal - completed
  • Trim back the wood line along Baker Creek - completed
  • Rain gutters on the amenity center to prevent erosion - completed
  • Spring flowers scheduled for - April 15th
  • Irrigation audit gets underway - early April
  • Sod Replacement @ Amenity Center > Please use the sidewalks while the sod is establishing. - early April

Pond Updates


Help us to protect our ponds:

  1. No Grass Clippings: Organic debris fuels algae growth.
  2. Fish Responsibly: Please fish away from fountains and power boxes.
  3. Leave the Rocks: The "riprap" stones around culverts prevent erosion.


Here are relevant pond status updates:


  • New fountain purchased in 2025 for Pond (D)
  • New Power Unit for Pond (E)
  • Removing several gallons of trash from ponds
  • Treated for algae & invasive aquatic weeds
  • Inspected Outfall areas
  • Cleared drain pipes from riprap being moved to block water flow

All Architectural Modification Requests should be submitted using the provided tab in your Connect Resident Portal. Please allow up to 45 days for your request to be reviewed.
