Saturday Screening Mammograms
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! In an effort to offer greater access to patients, TPMG Imaging and Breast Centers conduct Saturday Screening Mammograms throughout the year. Fellowship trained radiologists offer imaging services in private, discrete mammography suites. Annual screening mammograms are fully covered by most insurance carriers one time per year for patients starting at age 40.

Our next Saturday Screening Mammogram event is Saturday, October 12 in our Newport News and Williamsburg locations.
Patients can call their Primary Care Provider or the Imaging and Breast Centers to schedule.

Clinical Research Study for Ulcerative Colitis
If you are an adult with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis (UC), you may be eligible for a clinical trial that evaluates the efficacy and safety of an investigational drug treatment. The TPMG Clinical Research Division in Williamsburg, in collaboration with TPMG Gastroenterologist Frances J. Jones, MD, FACG, is looking into an investigational medication and whether it reduces symptoms in people with UC. A wide variety of participants will be enrolled because UC and medications may affect people differently based on their age, sex, gender, and race/ethnicity. Click here to learn more.

- are 18 years of age or older
- have been diagnosed with UC
- have experienced inadequate, no response, or loss of response while on other or previous medications
