Our first year of operations has been very exciting and our pace continues to accelerate! Take a look at our 2016 annual report in a nutshell:
  • We changed our name to include "Entertainment" to convey that a performing arts facility provides a stage for ALL types of performance
  • We adopted a new mission and vision statement, outlined key areas for strategic planning, and adopted a lofty goal of raising $600,000 in 2017
  • We hired nationally-recognized economist, Dr. Ray Perryman of the Perryman Group, to conduct a study to include the "regional economic impact or contribution" a Round Rock arts and entertainment facility would have on the overall economic health of the Central Texas region
  • We began seeking a lead gift of 10 acres of land
  • We began conducting a series of strategic interviews with regional thought-leaders, donors, elected officials, and business leaders
  • We began planning a subscription series of performances for Summer 2017 to be held at the RRISD PAC in order to build our audience, raise awareness and funds . . . stay tuned!
  • We have strong leadership that is focused on strategic board development, growth, and regional "big picture" thinking
  • We finalized and submitted all documents required to obtain IRS 501(c)3 charitable status
  • We began serious fundraising in order to bring our dream to life!
