PARTNER OF THE MONTH

Grobe Fruit Farm started as a dairy and potato farm in 1905 but now has evolved into its 5th and 6th generations. Their legacy speaks for itself with the quality of their products that they offer and belief in working with fellow local organizations. Because of this you of course hear about them on the airwaves of WOBL & WDLW but also can find their logo at shops and stores around the area. That's along with their two store fronts on Telegraph Road, Elyria and an express location located at Lagrange Road in Lagrange. We want to thank the Grobe family for their belief in radio and loyalty to WOBL & WDLW.

WOBL/WDLW FAMILY MEMBER OF THE MONTH

Felipe "El Pacha" Madera, originally from Puerto Rico moved to Lorain in his youth and had lived in the county since. Pacha as everyone knew him worked in radio for over 30 years and hosted the Sabor Latino show for two decades of that on Kool Kat. This follows up his time as a US Army Veteran, recognized with several prestigious awards. Back in August the WOBL & WDLW family learned of the tragic passing of Pacha at the age of 75. He embodied what grassroots local radio is all about and has been deeply missed.
