An Invitation to see Ignite! Reading in Morrow County Schools
Tuesday May 17th 8:00 am-10:30 am
Ignite! Reading implementation in Morrow County, in partnership with Eastern Oregon University, has launched in April at all three elementary schools in the district. Data is already showing that students have made a quarter of a school year's growth in foundational reading skills!

On Tuesday, May 17 they will be hosting a visit at Boardman Elementary School so that other school districts and universities interested in seeing the program in action have an opportunity to learn. You're all welcome to join to learn more about Ignite!'s partnership with EOU and Morrow County schools. Read about this partnership here.

An agenda for the day will begin at 8:00 AM on Tuesday morning and finish by 10:30 AM.

If you would like to attend, please email jessica.silwerski@openupresources.org. She will add you to the invite and ensure you receive any communications in advance of the event.

While every adult with dyslexia has different thoughts on this, we wanted to share two viewpoints with you. Firstly, a podcast by Wesley Faulkner and secondly, an article by Paul Shump. We hope you find these helpful.
