The ISBT Connection Celebrates One Year Anniversary!

Since the ISBT Connection debuted on December 15, 2019, it has been integral for ISBT communication with existing and future members and also provided a forum for our members to showcase their latest news and products. We want to thank you for helping us grow and evolve the newsletter over the past year and we look forward to continue working to make the ISBT Connection the voice of the beverage industry. Early this summer, we also delivered our first print and online publication of the Beverage Industry Resource Guide. These new member benefits will help facilitate ISBT members to do business with one another and shine a spotlight on the work our members do throughout the industry. Recently, the ISBT Board of Directors authorized our publishing partner, Data Key Communications, to sell sponsorship in the ISBT Connection in an effort to help support the production efforts for both print and online communications on behalf of ISBT.

We are excited about these milestones for our digital publications and hope that you have found them valuable. If you would like to see your company featured in an upcoming issue of the ISBT Connection or the Beverage Industry Resource Guide, please email steveg@datakey.org.

The ISBT Staff, Board of Directors, and highly skilled volunteers have also done a tremendous job of implementing our new operating model. The team has generated many ideas to reduce cost, increase revenue, and work efficiently to ensure that we provide tremendous value to our membership. This fall the Beverage Institute by ISBT delivered a very well received series of Packaging webinars. We also held high quality virtual meetings for BevTech Canada, BevTech Europe, and BevTech Latin America and achieved record setting attendance. While we have achieved many milestones this year, we are not resting. We are also in the midst of finalizing an excellent BevTech 2021 virtual program and you will continue to see articles about that event over the next several months.

I want to sincerely thank you for your contributions to ISBT having another successful year. Please enjoy a happy and safe holiday season as we look forward to a prosperous 2021.

President, ISBT

ISBT Responsive Ways of Working - Volunteers Needed

Volunteer Now to Support Your Industry

Become a pioneer and a champion of responsive ways of working! Join us on the first ISBT initiative dedicated to aligning and deploying a set of behaviors, processes, and practices that will drive enhanced collaboration across our society!

Across industry, a suite of behaviors and technology enabled tools are being deployed to enable more agile and collaborative ways of working. They can be used by individuals, teams, and organizations to more effectively collaborate, evolve ways of working, empower teams, and encourage a “test and learn” mindset.

At ISBT, we urgently need assistance to define and implement best practices in this area, including promoting collaborative behaviors and better leveraging collaboration tools such as Basecamp. These responsive working behaviors will be a key enabler to implementation of our Society’s strategic priorities.

If you have expertise, a passion for or would like to develop skills on responsive working/ collaboration best practices, we are interested in hearing from you for volunteer opportunities. Please contact Manus Mitchell (Manus.Mitchell@pepsico.com) or Gary Robson (gary.robson@surepurity.com) to learn more.
