BevTech is looking for energetic, motivated, and skilled volunteers to help the Program Committee prepare for BevTech 2022. The primary need at this point is for individuals willing to help review draft presentations for both the General Sessions and the Technical Committees, making sure they follow the guidelines laid out in ISBT’s Presenter Toolkit Checklist; this will ensure the highest quality technical presentations and adherence to ISBT’s bylaws.
If you're interested, you will be expected to participate in our weekly Program Committee meetings, currently held on Mondays at 11 a.m. Central.
For more information, or if you are ready to contribute in this role, please reach out to Vice President – BevTech, Maria Piedad Lopez, or Senior Director – BevTech, Matt Lecky.

Did You Know... about the ISBT?
Logo: First used in 2008.
ISBT: In 2009, ISBT contracted with Madeleine Crouch & Co. (MCC) for outsourced administrative work, with Casey Conway as the original account manager. Don Dinnerville is the current Senior Account Manager from MCC and Carol Wilbur is the account manager supporting the Beverage Institute and other ISBT activities.
Milestone: Harry Korab (Mr. ISBT), ISBT’s first Executive Director, passed away in 2009. Harry served as secretary/ treasurer of the SSDT until he became the Executive Director, totaling 40 years of service to the Society. He received a Lifetime Achievement award to the Hall of Fame from Beverage Industry magazine. The Society grew from 47 members to over 1,000 members by the time he retired! He was often kidded about his likeness to Tip O’Neil, the long-time Speaker of the House. Harry was with the ABCB at the start of the SSDT and retired from the NSDA in 1985.
