BevTech 2023 - Call for Outstanding Presentations
Are you a leader in the beverage industry? Do you have innovation that can be shared? Is your technology worthy of a presentation at the Premier Beverage Industry event?
This year ISBT is accepting proposals for presentations for the General Session and our nine Technical Committees. Each proposal will be evaluated and reviewed by industry subject matter experts for technical merit, industry significance, and innovation. BevTech 2023 will take place May 1-3 at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida, USA.

ISBT Announces Emeritus Scholarship for Current ISBT Members/Family Members
It is the objective of the ISBT scholarship program to provide financial support to academically qualified students who have shown an interest in pursuing a career in the beverage industry, either by course work or through an internship with beverage companies or suppliers to the beverage industry.
Beginning in 2019, ISBT added an Emeritus Scholarship option for ISBT members, or any of their immediate family, who are interested in applying for a scholarship.

Emeritus Scholarship Timeline
June 30 — Deadline for ISBT Emeritus Scholarship applications and all supporting documentation to be received.
August 1 — Decisions to be made by the Scholarship Committee and reviewed by the Board of Directors for the Emeritus Scholarship.
August 15 — Checks to be completed and administered to the scholarship recipient(s) or their school(s).

To know more about me personally & professionally - I've set up almost 150 beverage plants with software and visited many of them! I'd like to get certifications for motorcycles, flying, air ballooning, and much more. I always ask about people's passions so I can connect them, so please share yours with me! Sometimes I get in the car and take off! If you can't find me, I'm probably taking photos or videos, or off the grid on a hike or adventure.

ISBT Recognizes C5 Participant with Scholarship at BevTech 2022
As we previously mentioned in the May 15 newsletter, ISBT partnered with C5, an organization whose mission is to change the odds of success for high-potential teens from under-resourced communities by inspiring them to pursue personal success while preparing them for leadership roles in college, work, and their communities. BevTech Latin America 2022
BevTech Latin America® is back and in a hybrid format for 2022! An in-person conference will be held at Expo Santa Fe - Mexico City during EXPO PACK Mexico 2022 TODAY on June 15, 2022, allowing many opportunities for networking. We will also offer a virtual meeting on June 24, 2022. Both meetings will be in Spanish.

BevTech Asia Pacific 2022
The committee for BevTech Asia Pacific is disappointed to announce the postponement of the 2022 event planned for June 16th in Thailand. Existing travel factors impacting both speakers and visitors led to this decision. They hope to reschedule this as a virtual meeting later this year, possibly in October. In the meantime. the BevTech Asia team is looking for committee volunteers for this event, which will focus on sustainability & environment.
Existing ISBT members, we need your help to spread the word to your counterparts and colleagues in Asia Pacific — please encourage them to engage with us to join ISBT, present papers, and grow the ISBT presence in Asia Pacific. Virtual presentations are welcome.
