The Water Quality and Treatment Technical Committee cultivates a forum and medium for addressing the most current and critical water quality issues for ingredient, utility and wastewater management. This includes regulatory issues current and future, innovative and breakthrough technologies, sustainable practices, monitoring and quality control, and most importantly, active discussions with subject matter experts.
The committee is represented by well over 100 combined years of expertise in production and water management with key individuals from manufacturing, consulting, and solution offering. This year’s must-attend agenda includes focus on innovative technology in membrane separations with case studies (
Ronit Erlitzki - Flow Reversal RO,
Anthony Amendola – Membrane Bioreactor), removal of oxidants (
Kirtipal Barse,

The Sanitation for Fountain Beverages course addresses the protocols and procedures to ensure safe and high-quality delivery of fountain dispensed ice and beverages consumed by millions of consumers globally. This course allows for a better understanding of sanitizing solution options, beverage dispenser cleaning, ice container cleaning, flushing syrup lines, and proper material handling.
The lessons are designed for any organization dispensing fountain beverages (or even just using an ice bin!), so they can now have industry recognized training available for personnel.

BevTech India Hosts Inaugural Event
ISBT launched its inaugural event, BevTech India, on February 18, 2020, in Mumbai. In partnership with the Association of Food Scientists & Technologists (AFSTI), India, Mumbai Chapter, ISBT continued its mission of organizing technically focused, knowledge-sharing programs for beverage industry professionals. The event was attended by over 200 professionals representing the beverage industry - suppliers, service providers, academia and government.
Through this event, ISBT opened up a network of discussion for Indian beverage professionals and global beverage industry professionals who are dedicated to addressing the scientific and technological needs of the beverage industry. BevTech India 2020 provided a unique, collaborative forum for connecting industry practitioners and experts.
