Our Acadian Festival Exhibition is now open!

The International Acadian Festival was founded in 1969 under the direction of Gary J Hebert and the Knights of Columbus and has since focused on preserving and enhancing Iberville Parish’s Cajun heritage.  This is exhibit celebrates all things Acadian Festival, showcasing Evangeline memorabilia and photos from festivals’ past.

This Saturday, October 27 at 10:00 A.M., Barry Raffray will present on his third book of his Raising Sugarcane series.

Barry Raffray grew up on a sugar plantation in White Castle, Louisiana, and his memoirs share colorful stories of daily life from childhood, joining the U.S. Army in the 1960s, getting married, landing your first job, raising children, and learning to be a father. Books will be available to purchase and sign.
