Your Impact Ripples in Positive

& Often Unknown Ways

Thank you, Donors!

Donors Like You Help Love Endure

For Father’s Day, WPRP gifts wind chimes to our parents as a gentle reminder that—like the wind—the spirit of their loved one is always near. Though unseen, their presence still moves, still comforts, and still sings through the everyday moments.

By sending this gift ahead of the holiday, we hope to give parents time to reflect on how they want to honor their children’s parent in a way that feels meaningful to them.

Hanging the chimes together on Father’s Day can gently open the door for children to share memories, ask questions, or express feelings—reminding them that while love may change form, it never truly leaves. The sound of the wind becomes a quiet echo of that enduring truth.

We offered the same gift to our widowed fathers on Mother’s Day—and the impact was beautiful. Thank you, donors!

Alumni Mom Gives Back!

Thank you, Brandy Lydon, of Lydon Properties

We’re so grateful to Brandy Lydon, one of our incredible alumni moms, who recently opened her home to host a heartfelt gathering of friends in support of WPRP.

By inviting Executive Director, Kelly Orrico, to share the mission and impact of WPRP with some of her friends, Brandy helped spark generosity and connection. Her pot luck "Sippin' Sisters" night raised nearly half of the funds needed for our upcoming school supply drive—proving that when one parent gives back, it ripples outward in powerful ways.

Thank you, Brandy, for helping us support widowed families, one gathering at a time! Your company's motto is proven in the way you live your life:

"At Lydon Properties, we believe real estate isn’t just about property—it’s about people."

Find a compassionate and driven realtor who brings more value than just buying or selling your home at Lydon Properties

August is Upon Us!

Our School Supply Shopping Event brings together our WPRP families, alumni, and volunteers to tackle the often overwhelming back-to-school shopping season as a community. From the littlest Kindergarteners to our High School teens, every child receives a $125 stipend to pick out the supplies they need to feel confident and prepared for the year ahead.

This event is about so much more than notebooks and pencils—it’s about connection, encouragement, and the joy of knowing no one has to face this busy season alone. Families get to spend time together, share lunch, and walk away knowing their children are ready to learn and thrive.

This year we are funding 30 students and need to raise $3750.00. We have raised half so far! Please consider contributing to a child's school year and easing the burden of a widowed parent during this overwhelming time.

Thank you for being part of our mission to surround families with care, dignity, and hope.
