YOUR DONATION MATCHED

THANK YOU to those who generously responded to last week's email! We raised $1,000 in our first day! Please keep the momentum going to protect People & Stories/Gente y Cuentos programs!

As we shared last week, the federal funding freeze has halted key grant opportunities, leaving a $60,000 shortfall that threatens People & Stories/Gente y Cuentos' ability to sustain its award-winning, ongoing programs this year and into next year.

In fact, our program at Trenton, NJ's The Father Center is currently without funding for next year. $2,500 is the cost to provide this award-winning 8-week program that deeply affects lives.

Will you or your business, friends, family, or supporters help sponsor the successful program described by participant Kenneth Ford as giving him "a whole new perspective on life" in this Father Center testimonial video? Click here.

Our Leadership Match Challenge doubles every gift up to $20,000 by December 15, 2025, allowing your generosity to go twice as far in supporting free poetry and literature programs for adults, teens, and seniors in marginalized communities, largely in New Jersey, as well as the greater Philadelphia area.

Your donation today is essential to:

  • Keep our scheduled literature and poetry programs running through winter and spring.
  • Support and pay our trained coordinators — the heart of our mission.
  • Expand community partnerships.
  • Transform lives
