Virtual Reader's Theater with Highland Elementary School:
Reader’s Theater is a strategy for developing oral reading fluency by having students read aloud parts in scripts. Approximately five students are assigned to a break-out room in which two volunteers appear via Zoom. Our partnership with the Highland's Reader's Theater program has been going strong once a week (Tues) since last spring. The students love it so much that the teachers have requested additional sessions and an additional meeting day (Thurs). There will be approximately 5 students per break-out room.
There will be a winter session (January 4 - March 8) and a spring session (March 22 - May 24).
