Share the Light: Hanukkah Party & Benefit concert at Zenbarn
Saturday, December 8, 5:30-10 p.m.
Back by popular demand (this event sold out last year!), Vermont’s Jewish communities are organizing a Vermont-wide Hanukkah party at one of our local premiere food and music venues, ZenBarn in Waterbury. The night features a delicious holiday buffet with gourmet latkes and mediterranean-inspired dishes, plus a community menorah-lighting ceremony. Following the meal there will be a world-class Klezmer band, Klezwoods.  This year, part of the proceeds from the night will again support the emergency fuel assistance program at Capstone Community Action, a program that partners with local fuel dealers to provide emergency support to those in dire need to stay warm through the winter. Join in as we eat, drink, schmooze, and dance the night away. Doors at 5:30pm. Hanukkah Buffet served from 6-8 pm. 21+. $45 includes dinner and the show!

Tickets now available here .

This event is presented by the Jewish Community of Greater Stowe (JCOGS) in partnership with Jewish Communities of Vermont, Beth Jacob Synagogue in Montpelier, Ruach haMaqom in Burlington, Ohavi Zedek in Burlington, Temple Sinai Vermont in South Burlington, Living Tree Alliance in Moretown, and Hadassah VT.
JCOGS Community Hanukkah Happening
Sunday, December 9, 3-6 p.m.
JCOGS Community Hanukkah Happening with special events hosted by our Ateed teen group and latke-making with our very own homegrown spuds!

Miracles, hope, and standing up for your rights. Come celebrate the joyous Festival of Lights through games, song, drama, and, of course, the 4th annual Iron Chef contest. Bring your favorite Hanukkiah (menorah). We’ll use oil from the land of the Maccabees to rejoice in lighting the antique Indian Hanukkiah gifted to us this past summer.
