We come to find out what happens when prayer can be joyous, soul-centering, and transformational.

Student-led Multigenerational Shabbat Service & Potluck honoring Stacey Oshkello's leadership
Friday, May 4, 6 p.m.
Join us for this uplifting Shabbat as we complete our Olam Chesed Wednesday program year and celebrate Stacey Oshkello for her incredible leadership at JCOGS. Under the leadership of Stacey and the teachers, our children have been hard at work preparing for this final service. Come gather for a night of prayer, food, and words of gratitude for Stacey!

“What Stacey has been able to do in her years at JCOGS has been impressive. Enrollment is way up, certainly, but more importantly, the spirit of the school - the way the students, teachers, and parents interact - has lived up to its name: Olam Chesed, a place where, in our small way, we are crafting a ‘world of loving kindness.’ This is thanks in no small part to Stacey’s tireless work and leadership. We are grateful for everything you have done for our children and our community. Todah RABBAH!” ~Rabbi David
Kinderlach & Gesher Program
Saturday, May 5, 9:30 - 11 a.m.
Please join Rabbi David and Courtney for our monthly Shabbat morning program for families with young children, Kinderlach (ages birth-4) & Gesher (ages 5 +). We will learn about celebrating Shavuot, the day Moses received the Torah, and our Gesher group will have a chance to get a close up look at our Torah! Traditionally, many Jewish communities eat lots of cheese during this celebration. We will partake in this tradition, learn why, and learn about cheese making with Abe, Zeke and Jonah’s dad, Nat (Manager of the Jasper Hill Farm Creamery).

As always, plan to stay afterwards for an informal vegetarian potluck beginning at 11:00 a.m. JCOGS will provide bagels and cream cheese.
