JCOGS Strategic Planning
TODAY! Wednesday, Nov. 7, 4-5:30 p.m.
Our community has changed a great deal over the last few years. Not long ago, we didn’t have a full-time rabbi, and now we have a full calendar of religious observances, a plethora of social gatherings, and a children’s education program that is bursting with energy. Certainly all of this growth is exciting. As we plan for our future, it is important to pause and consider what we value in our community and how we would like to define ourselves in the years to come. To that end, the board has created a strategic planning committee to steward a community-wide self-examination and conversation.
The first step in a multi-pronged process will be focus groups, open to the entire community. Join us today for our final session.

This is an exciting process that will ultimately result in a practical set of attainable goals for our lay leaders, our staff, and our entire community. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Family Baking Event
Sunday, November 18, 3-5 p.m.
Hey tots through teens and JCOGS families - come bake on Sunday November 18th to help our neighbors and friends for Thanksgiving !
What started as a simple idea: "Why not make a few extra baked goods for the Food Shelf to help brighten someone's holiday?" has turned into one of our favorite holiday traditions! Each year in November we spread the word and ask our friends and neighbors to start baking. Nothing too difficult - breads, cookies, muffins - items that are easily made and well wrapped for transport or freezing. It's such a great and simple way to connect with our JCOGS community while helping hungry families in your community. It's all about spreading some home-baked love.
Hope you can join us at JCOGS on Sunday November 18th from 3-5 p.m. to bake for the Lamoille County Food Bank. To RSVP or for more information, please contact Wendy McCreight at .
